Beautiful golden light on Mount Sneffels at sunset near Ridgway, Colorado. Mount Sneffels is the highest summit of the Sneffels Range in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. The prominent peak has a summit of 14,158 feet.
Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one. At home or when traveling the world, I enjoy finding unexpected ways to view both the common and the extraordinary and share these through my photography.
