Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one. At home or when traveling the world, I enjoy finding unexpected ways to view both the common and the extraordinary and share these through my photography. This photo is very relaxing. Not sure what it is, maybe the playfulness of the petals, but it's hypnotizing, almost like a wave caught mid-action.
