While photographing the autumn colors of the Cimarron mountains on Owl Creek Pass in Colorado I found this lone ranch hand walking his horse along the road. He had finished rounding up a herd of cattle to move them down to pasture at a lower elevation for the winter.
About Kevin Schwalbe
Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one.
