A unique composite image of a sunset captured from the summit of 14,266 foot high Mount Blue Sky and Denver's skyline reflected in Sloan's Lake. Mount Blue Sky is the highest peak in the Mount Evans Wilderness in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
About Kevin Schwalbe
Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one. At home or when traveling the world, I enjoy finding unexpected ways to view both the common and the extraordinary and share these through my photography.
