A unique composite image of Square Top Mountain at sunset and Denver's skyline reflected in Sloan's Lake. Sunset was captured from the summit of 14,266 foot high Mount Blue Sky. Mount Blue Sky is the highest peak in the Mount Evans Wilderness in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.

Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one.
