Artist's Description
A serene desert landscape captured in White Sands National Park, where soft gypsum dunes stretch toward the horizon beneath a dramatic sky filled with glowing clouds. The gentle textures of wind-shaped sand contrast beautifully with the rich blues and warm highlights above, creating a calming and minimalist composition.
About Kevin Schwalbe
Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one. At home or when traveling the world, I enjoy finding unexpected ways to view both the common and the extraordinary and share these through my photography.
