The silhouette of Lakeside Amusement Park reflected in the still waters of Berkeley Lake in Denver, Colorado. Lakeside Amusement Park opened in 1908 and is one of the oldest amusement parks in the United States, and the oldest still running park in Colorado. The tower in the center of the picture is called the Tower of Jewels.
About Kevin Schwalbe
Growing up in Minnesota, I was always captivated by the sight of the sun rising over misty lakes and the desire to find a way to capture those images on film. That desire to capture a beautiful sunrise has always stayed with me. When I moved to Colorado more than twenty years ago, the inspiration of our state’s beauty and my love of photography met and became one.
